About

Exeter College Boat Club (ECBC) is the rowing community of Exeter College, Oxford. Founded in 1823, ECBC is one of the oldest boat clubs in the world. The college competes in both of Oxford's main inter-collegiate regattas: Torpids (spring), and Eights (summer).

Historically, Exeter has been one of the most successful colleges on the Isis. You can read more about our past below.

The club welcomes rowers and coxswains of all abilities, from complete novices to Boat Race participants. It is this emphasis on a friendly, inclusive atmosphere that has made ECBC the biggest sporting society in the college.

If you would like to find out more about joining the club, please contact a member of the team.
